David loved to find metal for recycling. He was his happiest when he was tinkering and taking things
apart and sorting everything by metal composition. He was a hardworking man. He NEVER quit
working during his illness. He enjoyed hanging out with his friend, Greg Bondy and reminiscing
about concerts they attended or things they did growing up. He had many classmates and friends
that he reconnected with over the past year and really enjoyed hanging out with each of them. He
was not one to beat around the bush, he told you how it was and made no excuses. David was a
one-of-a-kind guy that loved his family and friends hard and would give the shirt off his back to
whoever needed it. He was a true inspiration and showed great strength throughout his illness.
As requested by David, there will not be a funeral. He didn’t want everyone coming and crying over
him. (his words). He wanted everyone to remember him as a strong hardworking man.
