Delores Fojtik Hall, 93, went home to the open arms of her Father in Heaven on April 22, 2026. She was currently a resident of Nolensville, TN, where she was surrounded by her in town children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had been a resident of Tucker, GA, for 50 years prior to her move to TN.
Delores Marie was the youngest of six children, born to first generation Czechoslovakian Americans, Frank and Alvina (Muzny) Fojtik on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1932 at the family farmhouse in Deanville, TX. Her family later moved to the city of Bryan, TX where she attended St. Joseph Catholic School. She graduated from Bryan High School in 1950 where she had completed a semester of business school. She worked at Brazos Engineering and Bryan Air Force Base. While working at the base, the young officers often sought her help in securing dates for the big band orchestra dances that came to town. It was during one of these times that she met the love of her life, Paul Hall, a new pilot. The two courted and married within 12 months and began building their lives together with multiple moves around the country with the Air Force. Their Catholic faith and family were the drivers in their lives. While Paul flew all around the world, Delores stayed busy raising four children, making a home, cultivating gardens, running their social life, entertaining and becoming a part of the community and church wherever they moved. Their final assignment was at the Pentagon in Washington, DC where Paul worked for the Office of Presidential Support for Presidents Nixon and Johnson. Delores never let the many life changes stop her from embracing new adventures.
When Paul retired from the Air Force and started a new career, they began the next chapter of their life in Atlanta, GA. Delores was a servant leader as she continued to volunteer and run many programs related to her children’s athletics, schools, her community and church. She found her strength in daily mass and involvement with many ministries over the years. Delores impacted all that met her with her joyful, positive, grounded, faith filled attitude. She could remember and tell every joke she ever heard, never forgot a name, was a gifted storyteller and the family historian that had a brilliant mind that remained with her until her death. She brought God, light, love, hope and laughter everywhere she went! What a gift for all that knew her.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Paul, her daughter Sara Lea, her parents and all five siblings and their dear spouses. She will be forever missed and live on in the hearts and minds of her daughters, Bridget Hairston (Jeff) of Jacksonville, FL, Paula Reagan (Greg) of Murfreesboro, TN and Cara Keller (Dwayne) of Nolensville, TN; her son, Chad Hall of Buford, GA; her nine grandchildren, Cole, Zachary, Bryce, Matthew, Sara Marie, Peyton, Madison, Dylan and Hannah Lee; twelve great-grandchildren; two special God daughters, Gwen Fickey of Dripping Springs TX and Cindy Miksch of The Woodlands, TX and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
