

With gratitude to God for a life well spent, we announce the homegoing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, Mr. Edward Azubike Omekam, who was called to glory on November 21, 2025.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Omekam,children son Uchenna Felix Omekam of Lagos, Nigeria, daughter Edith Nwamaka Omekam of Georgia, son Engr. Francis Ifeanyi Omekam fo Abuja, Nigeria, and daughter Obiageli Nwando Omekam of Georgia, Grandchildren Jennifer Obiageli Okwudili of Georgia, SA Ifeanyi Omekam of Lagos, Nigeria, Nneamaka Omekam of Lagos, Nigeria, Ifeoma Omekam of Abuja, Nigeria, Kosisochukwu Omekam of Abuja, Nigeria, and Chidera Omekam Abuja Nigeria, Inlaws Uchechukwu Sandra Omekam Nee Okigbo of Abuja, Nigeria and Ndidi Omekam Nee Ohaebgu of Lagos, Nigeria, Siblings: brother Akunwafor Peter Omekam of Onitsha, Nigeria, sister Bar. Ifeanyinwa Mbanefo (Retired) of Canada, and brother Barry Omekam of Georgia, along with numerous family members and friends who cherished him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his sister Ifeome Bosah, brother Odigbo Omekam and sister Ekwunife Meyua.
Edward will be remembered for his gentle heart, warm smile, and the legacy of love he leaves behind.“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” – Psalm 116:15
A visitation will be held at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, located at 3594 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, Georgia, on December 19, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 pm. The committal service will take place at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville, Georgia.
