I loved to hear, Eugene, sing a solo at Mountain View Baptist Church. My favorite was, God on the Mountain. He was such a dapper dresser, always looked his best, always smiling, and made everyone he met feel good. A true gentleman and Christian. Blessings and prayers for the family.

Somewhere in heaven a choir just got a new director and I am sure they are greatful. I will always have fond memories of the enthusiastic way that Eugene would lead singing. He had a way of making even the least gifted singers of all want to lift up their voices in praise. He will be sorely missed and I pray that God will give us all peace during this time of grief.

Eugene was a gentleman and dressed so dapper each time he came to church. He was a great music director with so much energy and happiness. He had a wonderful voice, and hearing him sing, God on the Mountain, was a true blessing. God bless his beautiful family.
