Eric Godineaux, Sr. was called home on August 16, 2019 to be with the Lord after his battle with cancer. He was born on February 27, 1968 in Bronx, NY to Edwin and Marietta Godineaux. He was raised in Bronx, NY and later joined the United States Marine Corps. He is the third and youngest child of Edwin and Marietta Godineaux. He is survived by his wife Tammy Godineaux, two sons Eric Godineaux, Jr. and Ricky Berry, Jr., parents Edwin and Marietta, two siblings Linda and Edwin, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

What can I say about Eric So many wonderful things he was a good man He loves my daughter Unconditional He always told me how much he loved her...He was a sweet honest Christian man who loves the Lord and look forward to join him he was my friend who I enjoy talking with kidding around with We always joke around he Loved fighting with me and me with him I miss him already it was such a great loss for our family...RIP My dear friend my son-in-law just know that you were well loved here On earth as you are in heaven today As Eric Jr said peace out till we see you again❤️❤️❤️❤️

For my baby brother there are no words to describe the loss of you! We know God needed you but it makes our pain of you any less-makes it worse. But I’m happy you are at peace, I’m happy you have no pain or suffering and I know your with family.
