Eva Maria Smalls

Eva Maria Smalls, of Stone Mountain, GA, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at East Side Medical Center. She was 55. She was born on July 25, 1961 in Del Rio Texas, USA . In 1984 she married Brandon S. Smalls, and together they had three children, Shalannah, Sierra, and Evan. They stayed married for 32 years until her passing.

Eva worked for most of her career as a Medical Transcriptionist and then as a Medical Transcription QA Manager. During the last year she worked in the Customer Service department of Sam's Club.

Eva was the youngest of six children between John A. Smith and Ernestine Tartt Smith. A beautiful and unique soul, Eva enjoyed tending to her plants and flowers, observing animals in their natural habitats, watching and talking endlessly with her best friend about tennis, and spending time socializing with her children, family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Eva is survived by her husband Brandon Smalls, daughters Shalannah Smalls and Sierra Smalls and her son Evan Smalls; four brothers Erskine Smith, Greg Smith, Donald Smith and Ronald Smith and sister Marrion Hickson. Eva was predeceased by her parents John and Ernestine Smith.

A memorial service will be held at Eternal Hills in Snellville, Georgia on April 1st at 1pm. Memorial donations may be made in Eva's name to the National Stroke Association. Arrangements under the direction of Eternal Hills Funeral Home, Snellville, GA.
