Frances Walker Carter

Frances Walker Carter, age 77, of Lilburn, Georgia went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Frances was born March 17, 1944 in Yazoo City, MS. On March 18, 1966, she married the love of her life, James M. (Jimmy) Carter. Frances worked as a secretary at Brookwood Baptist Church, where she retired. She was a member of Mountain Park First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents Francis Guy Walker and Evelyn Russum Walker, sister Catherine Walker Vandevender, brother Thomas Guy Walker and grandson Christopher James Bachtel. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, James, daughter Jennifer Carter Ferencevich and husband Andrew, Sr., daughter Catherine Carter Bachtel, grandson Andrew Carter Ferencevich, Jr., granddaughters Anna Catherine Ferencevich Gaddis and Lisa Renee Bachtel, great granddaughter Felicity Renee Gaddis and great grandson Dakota Wayne Gaddis.

A memorial service for Frances will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2:30 PM at Mountain Park First Baptist Church, 5485 Five Forks Tricum Rd, Stone Mountain, Georgia 30087. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Mountain Park First Baptist Church.
