Paulette was a beloved wife, mother and friend. She was known for her compassion, honesty, feisty nature, and stylish dress. She was deeply devoted to her family and actively participated in all her son’s sports. When her father fell ill, and later her husband, she selflessly cared for both. In her free time, she played canasta with friends, travelled, and attended church. She also loved crafting, which led to a publication titled, Country Decorating with Wood Cut-Outs in 1984. Paulette knew her way around the kitchen and was an excellent southern cook. After several years of dedication, she retired from A.G. Rhodes, formerly Wesley Woods, where she was Head of Admissions. Her kindness towards others ran deep and she touched the lives of countless individuals throughout her life.
She will be deeply missed by her son, John Rusnak, Jr., daughter-in-law, Stacy Rusnak, grand-dogs, Jake and Frankie, and friends, Judy Hulgan, Ann Wooten, Ann Deck, Carla and Myles Blanton, and many others. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Rusnak Sr.
