So sorry for your loss, may your memories of the good times carry you through this time.
George hired me as a contract engineer for Video Services. I had the pleasure of working with and for him for many years. George was a class act and he embodied the spirit of the good Georgia Power. Glad I could see him in action. All of the family should be extremely proud of George. He had to be a fantastic husband, dad and friend, he cared!

I admired his quiet leadership, based on strength, knowledge, competence -- the type of person who got excellent results not by making loud demands but through inspiration, guidance, proper direction, and motivation. Even more, I admired his strong dedication to his faith and his family. When you walked into his office, you saw the family photos, the Holy Bible, and you felt the presence of his calm, loving spirit. "Lead by example." We were taught that in management seminars; we are still being taught that in sanctuaries. So simple. But so difficult for most of us to achieve. George Hoffman was one of the few people in my life who was able to do that -- and do it well -- leading by example as a loving family man, as a Christian, as a business manager, as a compassionate human being.
