Harry D. Cargal age 83 passed away May 11, 2013 from complications of Alzheimer's disease. Formerly of Duluth, GA, Mr. Cargal was residing at the GA War Veteran's Home in Milledgeville, GA. Mr. Cargal served in the U. S. Army from 1950 - 1956 and received the Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal & Bronze Star, Combat Infantryman Badge and United Nations Service Medal. He is predeceased by his wife, Lillie Mae Cargal and son, Dr. William Dewey Kitchens. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy-Ann and Warren Van Hutten of Loganville, GA; son, Gordon Stacey Cargal of Duluth, GA; daughter, Carla Cargal of Stockbridge, GA five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Nicole Lock officiating. Interment, Wednesday, May 15th, 11:30 am in the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA with military honors.
