Helen was born on June 12, 1929 in Atlanta, GA to Reverend Richard Hamilton and Fannie Myrtle Smith. Helen was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always placed the needs of others above her needs. Her Lord came to this world to serve and not to be served, and she followed His example with all her relationships.
Survivors include son Rick Mote and wife Cheryl of Murfreesboro, TN; son Randy Mote and wife Pat of McDonough, GA; daughter Debbie Mobley and husband Philip of Stockbridge, GA; brother William Smith of Jackson, GA; sister Carlene Smith of Cumming, GA; five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, November 18 at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, 3594 Stone Mountain Hwy., Snellville, GA. Funeral Services will be at 12 PM on Thursday, November 19 in the Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Medlin and Pastor Ken Smith officiating.
