

Jack was born on April 5th, 1933 in Clarkston, GA. He graduated with the class of 1951 from Clarkston High School, and then proudly served in the United States Navy. Jack was a home-builder for over 40 years in the greater Gwinnett County area. In his retirement years, he worked with the Gwinnett County School District for 10 years. Jack and Mary are proud members of New Hope Baptist Church where he regularly attended. Well known and well liked throughout the community, it seems that Jack never met a stranger. He was a devoted Christian and loving family man.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, William J and Erma Livsey, brother General William Livsey, 3 children: Steve Clack, Tony Livsey, and Mark Livsey, and 2 grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Livsey, and 5 children: Danny Clack, Beth Livsey Giles, John Clack, Joel Clack, and Joy Clack Robinson, 16 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren,.
Visitation services will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 5-7pm at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, 3594 Stone Mountain Hwy, Snellville, GA 30039. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 11am in the Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, 3000 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA 30084.
