

James E. Ebron was predeceased by his parents, his only sister, Elizabeth (Ebron) Marsh and her son S. Marsh. He leaves to cherish his memories: his beloved wife, Virginia (Rota) Ebron, son, Joseph Ebron, daughter, Paula Ebron, step-son, Antoine Jones (w. Jennifer Jones), grandchildren, Janaeya Jones and Antoinette Jones, great-grandchildren, Jayla Jones and Dante Thompson.
James, (known to his family as "Jimmy"), was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late William Ebron and Edna Anderson. He was baptized at the Monumental Baptist Church in Philadelphia, P.A. He was educated in the Philadelphia school system. His working career began at Gimbels Department Store, where he worked for 23 years. Jimmy also worked at I.B.M for 37 years and then retired in 2016 from Colonial Penn, after working their for 14 years.
Jimmy was an avid jazz fan and enjoyed singing, as well playing the saxophone and piano. Jimmy married the love of his life, Virginia Rota in 1972. He partnered with his wife and ran a restaurant for 16 years. Though he lived in Philadelphia all of his life, he and his wife traveled all around the world. He did it all....his way.
