Jerry J. Ford, 79, of Monroe,GA, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, in Social Circle. Jerry was born on September 5, 1934 in Atlanta, GA to Delos and Zadie Gilbert. She worked for many years as a secretary at Crown Cork and Seal. Jerry loved the outdoors and was a big fan of baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves. She is survived by her sons Ric Jarvis and wife Barbara of Covington, GA and Dale Ford of Monroe, daughter Vallie Poulchan and husband Carl of Duluth, GA, grandchildren Kristen Jarvis Keeling, Justin Ford, Katie Jarvis Cobb and Tyler Jarvis and great grandchildren Jonah Keeling, Esther Grace Keeling, Skyler Ford and Easton Cobb.
