

Julia Argelis Gordon was born on April 12, 1950, in Panama City, Panama. She was the daughter of the late Arnold Blackwood and Paulina Blackwood. Tuesday, August 16th, 2022 she transitioned into eternal rest with our heavenly Father.
Julia completed her primary education at Escuela Republica de China and attended Richard Newman High School, both in her native Republic of Panama. In 1972 she met her husband ( Jesse Gordon) in Panama and a year later they moved to Colorado.
Julia enjoyed reading the bible and quoting scripture, crossword puzzles, spending quality time with her children and grandchildren, cooking and attending church and working for the Lord.
In addition to her parents, Julia is preceded in death by her late sister Gloria Blackett (2016).
Julia was married for over 50 years to her loving husband Jesse Gordon, Sr. She was a devoted mother of two children and is survived by: husband Jesse Gordon, Sr., son Jesse Gordon Jr. and daughter Kisha Louis . Her legacy continues in 5 grandchildren: Tatianna, Cerenity, Jesse (III). Gabriella and Madison and 1 great grandson(Brayden Gordon). She is survived by 7 siblings: Carlos Blackwood (Alejandrina), Nelva Turner (Humberto), Maritza Cole (Eddie), Vielka Alvarez (Modesto), Jackeline Marquez (Luis (deceased), Sonia Wagstaff (Hubert) and Johnny Blackett (Yesenia).
A visitation for Julia will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Eternal Hills Funeral Home and Cremation, 3594 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA 30039, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
