Leola "Lee" Crews Teasley

Leola "Lee" Crews Teasley, age 93, of Loganville, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 2, 2021. Lee was born in Pierce County, GA to Joe and Kate Crews on September 6, 1927. She was one of five children whom she loved dearly and who preceded her in death, Hamer, Curtis, James and Harry.

Lee graduated from Nahunta Hill School. She moved to Brunswick and then Atlanta while working for Southern Bell Telephone Company and part-time modeling for Macy's Department Store. Lee retired from Sears Credit Central where she had many close friends whom she stayed in touch with for many years after retiring. After moving to Atlanta, she met and eventually married the love of her life, Thomas W. Teasley. They had 56 wonderful years together before preceding her in death. Lee was a member of the Loganville First United Methodist where she was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her daughter Deborah Hogarth and husband Mark, son Thomas W. Teasley, Jr., grandchildren Heather Britt, George "Sandy" Britt and wife Michele, Samuel Teasley, Thomas J. Teasley, great grandchildren London and Ledger Britt and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all of the caregivers at Parkside Post Acute and Rehabilitation Center for taking care of our mother over the last year and a half, with a special thanks to Belinda Bennett, who gave her special care, kept her smiling, and dialing her cell phone so that we could stay in touch.
