

Linda McDaniel Nettles went to be with our Lord and savior on Wednesday February 18, 2026 in Dacula, Georgia at the age of 76. Linda was born March 1, 1949 in Newberry, South Carolina to James Grady McDaniel and Mary Annie Chapman McDaniel. Linda spent her childhood in Chapin, South Carolina with family and friends. She helped care for the family farm including raising animals and growing crops. After graduating from Chapin High School, Linda moved to Georgia to live with her aunt Ethel McDaniel and attend College. Linda earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Georgia State University. Upon completion of her degree, Linda worked as a National Account specialist and manager for Lanier/Ricoh for over 42 years. She was married to her husband Randall Leroy Nettles for over 43 years.
In retirement, she enjoyed gardening, birdwatching, reading magazines and the daily newspaper, and spending time with family, especially her three grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Joshua Doss, grandchildren, Grady, Adaline, and Hazel Doss, and sister Annie Lou McDaniel, six brother and sister- in -laws: Dean Nettles, Linda Hunt, Kenneth Nettles, Terrell Nettles, Sandra Chesser, and Norma Kuhr, and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Randall Leroy Nettles, parents James Grady and Mary Annie McDaniel, and numerous aunts and uncles.
