I only met Linda once but she was a good friend of my sister Evelyn Thomas and Evelyn often spoke highly of Linda and what a good friend she was. I am sorry for your loss and I know you will miss her dearly and I pray that you will be comforted by our loving God and knowing that she had many caring friends.

David and I were stunned at hearing of Linda’s passing but comforted in knowing that she slipped into the arms of Jesus upon taking her last breath.
We remember you, Jon, and each of Linda’s brothers and sisters with much love and joy as we all grew up in Allapattah’s strong embrace as children and young people.
Please express to the family the sorrow we share with you, but also our prayers for the peace and comfort which only the Holy Spirit gives.
With much love asking for God’s good, right hand to be upon you all,
David and Patsy Kinsey Knight

Gary and I were privileged to know Linda for over thirty years. She was a gift to all who knew her. Linda blessed so many with her wonderful voice and we are sure she is now singing in the heavenly choir. It is so appropriate that it has rained and thundered every day since Linda passed away. We believe it is Jesus and those in heaven welcoming her with thunderous applause for a “job well done.” Linda left a legacy of love and commitment to our sweet Jesus as evidenced by her precious family. She will be missed.

I had the privilege of singing with her in the FBC choir for several years. I still consider her and Jon friends. They were/are great examples of how to live the Christian life. My condolences to the family an prayers for peace and comfort knowing we will all meet again...

My heartfelt sympathy is extended to all of you during this time. She was always fun to be around and one memory I have of her is at Christmas time when the family was at First Baptist Pompano, we were in the sanctuary choir and I had a musical tie on under my robe. My arm hit the button and the tie started playing during the offertory prayer. we all got tickled and Mr. Fennell just turned and shook his head. She will always live in the hearts of many and we look forward to seeing her again in Glory soon.
