The clock of life is wound but once, and no man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop. At a late or early hour, now is the time you own, so live, love and toil with enthusiasm. Place no faith in tomorrow for the clock may then be still.

On Thursday morning, August 25, 2022 at approximately 4am (a time fixed before the foundation of the world) God penned “The End” in the annals of glory and in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, He called to a close on earth (but the beginning in heaven) the life of Mary Wilson Johnson.
Mary Wilson Johnson, affectionately known as Mae, the second-born child to the late Haney Wilson, Sr. and Maggie Lawson Wilson, was born on August 20, 1930 in Lumpkin, Georgia.
She was raised in a loving Christian home where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age. She graduated from Richland High and Industrial School, Richland, Georgia.
During her younger years she loved cooking and baking and there was always a meal in her house for anyone that crossed her doorstep. She also enjoyed sewing and gardening. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted son, Lionel Wilson and his wife Linda of Lithonia, Georgia; a son, Lawrence Wilson (Carla) of Conyers, Georgia; a daughter, Gwendolyn Barnhart (Gregory) of Duluth, Georgia. Ten grandchildren: Maurice Wilson of Ohio, Tanita Cotton of Columbus, GA, Curtis Jackson (Adria), Conswello Jackson, Africa Jackson Harris (Albert), Jazmone Howard Robinson (Michael), Lance Ragland (Dujuana), Shalisa Wilson, all of Metro Atlanta , Kimberly Wilson Lewis (Bradley) of Gastonia, NC, Brittany Wilson Fisher (Eric) of Atlanta, GA. Twenty-Eight great grands, five great-great grands, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
