Tuesday, August 11, 2015. She celebrated her 90th birthday on Easter Sunday this
year.
Services will be Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 11 AM at Eternal Hills
Funeral Home in Snellville. Interment follows in Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Prince was born April 5, 1925 and a longtime resident of Savannah,
TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar McGoy Sawner and Lillie
Jane Freeman Sawner. She was married to Edward Woodford for 45 years who
preceded her in death in 1985.
She was married in November 1988 to Roy Landis Prince, who survives. She
was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed cooking and crochet.
Mrs. Prince was also preceded in death by her son Jimmy Woodford and ten
brothers and sisters. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Prince is survived by
her daughter Jane Lisbon, her son Samuel Woodford (Laura), seven
grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
