Cliff was an extremely talented pianist and vocalist with many musical groups, from Mad Hatters and Papa Doc to his own band, Cahaba and then ToyTrain in Birmingham. He then continued his career in Atlanta with Coda and Dueling Pianos with the Andrews Brothers. Alternating weekly gigs, the different members of the troupe also traveled all over the southeast entertaining at many events, both corporate and individual.
Cliff is preceded in death by his uncle, Bill Holcomb and his father Maurice Cliff Holcomb II.
Survived by his wife, Robin Elaine Ward Holcomb, sons Christopher Ward Holcomb, Derek Coleman Holcomb, brothers Howard, Edward and David. And his mother Margaret Peggy Coleman Holcomb. Friends and family are cordially invited to a gathering for refreshments at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens located at 3594 Stone Mountain Hwy, GA 30039 Nov. 7th at 2:00pm following a service in the chapel celebrating Cliff’s life.
