Micheal is survived by his wife Jeannine Mcintire. Children: Deana Bobbitt, Jessica Madsen, Jacob Gilbert, Richard Gilbert, Bradley Cedar. Ten Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren.

Anyone who knew Micheal will remember his upbeat spirit and his constant need to keep his hands busy. He approached every task with determination and never
backed away from a challenge.
Micheal proudly served his country in the U.S Army during the Vietnam War as an infantry solider, earning the rank of Private First Class. His decorations included the Sharpshooter Marksmanship Badge and the National Defense Service Medal. He was stationed in Germany for a year, where he not only served by guarding NATO sites but also embraced the local culture and learned the German language
After his honorable discharge, Micheal pursued a skilled trade and became a Tool and Die Maker- a career he dedicated himself to for over forty years. In retirement, he continued to express his creativity and craftsmanship in his home workshop, always working on projects, building trinkets, or enjoying time on his motorcycle.
A burial will be held on Thursday July 31, 2025 at 11:30 a.m at the Georgia National Cemetery 2025 Mount Carmel Church Lane Canton, GA 30114
