Mr. Michael Allen Taylor son of Wilma Jean Taylor was born on August 1, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois. Michael attended school in Chicago and Union, Tennessee. He also attended and played football for Tennessee State University.
He accepted Christ as an adult and was a member of Fresh Start Church under the pastoral ship of Pastor Marquis Boone, whom he loved and respected greatly.
Michael was an avid sports enthusiast with a true passion for football. Michael loved life and always had nuggets of advice for children, grandchildren, and anyone he met. He also had a passion for his work as a cardiac monitor technician, and greatly appreciated and respected his mentor, trainer, and friend, Dr. Paul Carryon.
Michael was united in marriage to Jacquelyn Denise Booker on August 9, 2008. Jacquelyn stated that "Michael was her husband, partner, and love. Together we learned to share what life brought our way and learned to care more with every passing day. We shared a lot of good times, a few hard times, and lots of blessings, but having him…having us…having God made all the difference."
-You have a very special place in my heart. We have shared the blessings of God. Philippians 1:7 TLB
