Morgan was born May 15, 1934 in the Bronx NY. He moved to Long Island, NY where he raised his family before retiring to Port St. Lucie, FL.
He had a career as a Computer/Systems analyst and worked for IBM, the Diocese of Rockville Centre, and the American Bible Society before retiring in 2000.
Morgan was a member of the US Army Specialist Third Class and belong to the Knights of Columbus (he was a Third Degree Knight).
He is preceded in death by his wife, Catherine, son, Francis, and mourned by his 7 children, Kevin (Eileen), Karen (John), Deborah, Brian (Jen), Dawn Marie, Kathy Ann (James) and Gerard, Francis’s wife, Kathy, and his 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
No matter how bad he was feeling, he always tried to put a smile on your face. He was our father, our coach, our friend, and will be missed every day until we are reunited with him once again.
Visitation will be 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM on Friday, September 28, at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, 3594 Stone Mountain Hwy., Snellville, GA. A Mass will be celebrated at 4pm on Saturday, September 29, at Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel, followed by the graveside service.
