Myra Peace

Myra was educated in Danielsville during her childhood years, where she graduated from Danielsville High School. Myra worked at Western Electric/Lucent Technologies for many years. She retired in 1996, but was requested to come back under contract work for any additional 4 years in Human Resources.

On August 5, 1958, Myra married Mr. William Peace and their union was blessed with one child, Kim.

Myra was a strong woman and strong in her faith. She loved her Church, Pastor, and church friends. She was a devout member of Church on Main for 17 years. She loved and enjoyed being outdoors, traveling out west with her family. The times you would find her at home, she was either doing crossword puzzles, putting a jigsaw puzzle together or, reading her bible. She cherished her only Granddaughter, Cheylan Baker, and supported her in everything she did. She was able to attend her High School graduation in 2019 and was incredibly proud of her. She loved her only daughter, Kim Hannah, with all her heart and soul. She was able to be there for the marriage of her daughter to James Hannah in March 2019 and shared in their joy. She will be truly missed by many.

Myra leaves precious memories behind with her daughter: Kim (James) Hannah of Snellville, GA; granddaughter: Cheylan Baker of Snellville, GA; sister: Ouida Phillips of Hull, GA; Special friends: Carolyn Seagraves (niece), Trudy Daniel (sister-in-law), Carolyn Pierce, & Elese Hagglove; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved and cherished.

Myra was preceded in death by her siblings: Ray Daniel, Sidney Daniel, Oneida Landers, Russell Daniel, Watson Daniel, Billy Daniel, Windloll Bullock, Ann Clary, & Everette Daniel.

A visitation for Myra will be held Monday, February 21, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Eternal Hills Funeral Home and Cremation, 3594 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA 30039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 3594 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA 30039. A committal service will occur Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, 3700 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA 30039.
