Born in Clyo, GA, she was the daughter of George and Mildred Gnann. She was employed at Belvedere United Methodist Church as a secretary.
She was a member of the 400 club, traveling with friends to see The Atlanta Braves. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing in the choir, and spending time with family. She will be remembered for being a loving and caring mother of three children.
She is survived by two sisters; Georgia Burnice Gnann, and Margaret Ruth Barnett, daughters; Patrice Scott, and Michelle Hillis, and son Edmond Brown, five grandchildren; Hannah and Sam Scott, Zachary Brower, AJ and Allie Hillis, and great-grandchild Aralyn Bosak.
