Natina Alishe Taylor

Natina Alishe Taylor was born on September 26, 1973, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where her beautiful journey began. From an early age, Natina possessed a vibrant spirit that could light up any room. She was naturally creative, loved to dance whenever music filled the air, and had a laugh that was unforgettable. She shared many memories with her best friend sister Crystal Sneed.

Natina attended Shorter College. She dedicated her life to serving others, especially children with exceptional needs. She loved working with the homeless, she was a mentor for Gwinnett County Schools and became a foster parent.

Above all else, Natina's greatest joy was being the devoted mother of her son. He was the light of her life, and she loved him with her whole heart.

Natina accepted Christ in her life at an early age. She was passionate about God's work and lived a life committed to serving His Kingdom. She faithfully served in various ministries at her church and was devoted to helping wherever there was a need.

Natina leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving parents, Dennis and Bertha Smith; her beloved son, Najee Wilkins; her sisters, Micole Taylor-Thomas (Christopher Thomas), Crystal Sneed (Willie Moore), Lakeisha Smith-Johnson (Derek Johnson), and Shaunetta Moultry (Tywan Moultry) Meagan Smith, and brother Nicholas Smith. Proceeding in her death her aunts Sarah Lewis, Mary Crawford, Esther Lee Perry, Vivian Millberry and Lana Robinson and uncles William Daniels, Billy Smith, Carroll Hines, James Smith and Herbert Smith. Surviving aunts are Earleen Wigfall, Voncile Smith, Ida Mae Kimble, and Rosemary Diggs and uncles Bernard Smith, Herman Smith, David Smith, Paul Smith, Henry Taylor, and Lenny Turner along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and cherished friends whose lives were forever enriched by her love, laughter, wisdom, and unwavering faith.

Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that Natina's race has been well run and her reward is eternal. Her legacy of love, faith, service, laughter, and compassion will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her.

We do not say goodbye—we simply say, "Rest until we meet again."
