Always helpful, in 2002-2003 PDG Norm served as Cabinet Secretary for then DG Steve Hart. An example for us all, he received an International Certificate of Leadership in the 1999-2000 Lions year and a Certificate of Appreciation in 1993-94 . Lions Norm and Jean were both Melvin Jones Fellows.

As Norm joins Jean, may he rest in peace.

I was blessed to have Norm Masters as a friend and a mentor in our Lions Club. He was always an encourager to me, and he and Jean were faithful members of the Snellville Lions Club for many years. The Snellville Lions Club will miss Norm, but we are grateful for the legacy he has left for us.

I was pleased to see Past District Governor Norm at a Snellville Lions Club meeting last year. It had been a long time since we had been together at a Lions meeting. I was used to him coming to the district meetings and to being very involved.
Lion Norm became a Lions Club member in 1985. In 1992-3 and again in 1994-5 Lion Norm served as Region Chair. He was District 18-D Governor in 1996-7. He served as Council International Convention Chair that Lions year. I believe that was the year and Convention that PID Jim Ervin or Albany, GA was elected third Vice President of the International Association of Lions Clubs.
For many years PDG Norm was Snellville Lions Club Secretary. He became a Life Member in 2003.
PDG Norm will be missed.
