Patrice was born on November 13, 1963 at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta, GA to Faye Roberts. She was in the graduating class of 1981 at Parkview High School in Lilburn, GA. Patrice enjoyed spending time at the lake, white water rafting, playing pool, and going to concerts. Her favorite band was Bon Jovi and she attended every concert in Atlanta. Patrice also loved playing cards, especially poker. She was known for her fun loving personality and positive spirit.
She is survived by her sons, Derek and Richard Layton, father Hank Roberts, sister Margie Mauldin, daughter-in-law Jessica Layton. niece Megan Paul and nephew Stephen Mauldin.
The Funeral Services to honor and celebrate the life of Patrice Powers Layton will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, 3594 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends on September 29, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
