Paul Alan Guldenschuh, aged 64 of Stone Mountain, GA, passed away from medical complications at Veterans Administration Hospital in Decatur, GA on October 9th, 2025. Paul was a fun loving, mischievous man who loved to make others laugh. Paul also loved to help others, giving his time and experience while expecting nothing in return.
Paul was born in Atlanta, GA in 1961 to Ralph and Virginia Guldenschuh. Paul attended elementary school in Brandon, FL at Nativity Catholic School where he was known to challenge the patience of the nuns who taught him. Paul also attended Atherton elementary school in Decatur, GA and then High School at Redan High School before joining the Navy. Paul served in the Navy on the USS Blakely out of Charleston, SC, from 1980 to 1984, where he learned the Electrical Trade which led him to become a Master Electrician and open Guldenschuh Electrical Contractors which he operated for 40+ years.
Paul loved to try new things. Hobbies Paul enjoyed throughout his life were, hunting, fishing, shooting, kayaking, playing bass guitar with his band, cooking, creating things with a welder, going to new places and riding his Harley Davidson. Paul loved to collect t-shirts from every Harley Davidson dealership he ever visited. But most of all Paul enjoyed people and loved spending time with Kim and his friends whether it be helping them with a project they had to do or just hanging out while he tended to a slab of meat on his smoker.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother Virginia Guldenschuh, his father Ralph Guldenschuh and his brother Mark Guldenschuh and is survived by his fiancé Kimberly Johns, and his brothers Greg Guldenschuh and Joel Guldenschuh .
Paul’s upbeat persona and snarky attitude will be greatly missed by all.
