Phyllis M. Linton O'Brien, a resident of Stone Mountain, Georgia, passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 77. She was born on January 30, 1948, in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica to David and Grace Miller. She attended school at Saint Elizabeth Technical High School and Monroe College. Phyllis worked as a secretary at Specialty Products and Insulation for over 23 years. She enjoyed planning and hosting events, including prayer meetings, volunteering and helping those in need.
Mrs. O'Brien was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 21 years, Mervyn O'Brien.
Survivors include son Nicholas Linton, daughter Lisa Scott, brother Leslie Miller and sister Brenda Hornbacher.
A visitation will be held at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, located at 3594 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA 30039, on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be in the Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 22, 2025,. Interment will immediately follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville, GA.
