Rachel Harrison

Rachel Y. Harrison, 69, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2011, in Lilburn. Rachel was born on November 9, 1942 in Butler, GA to Henry and Iris Youngblood. She worked at Suburban Nursery School for many years. Rachel lived for her family, cleaning and her job and she also loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Harrison, sister Vera Mygrant and brother David Youngblood. Survivors include her son Jemmie Harrison and wife Bobbie of Lilburn, adopted daughter Becky Prevatt, sisters Deloris Parker and husband Mike of Ft. Valley, GA, Mary Jo Freeman and husband Cecil of Conyers and Virginia Hunt and husband Bill of Calhoun, GA, brother Edward Youngblood and wife Pat of Ft. Valley, grandchildren Jammie Harrison and wife Cassie and Rachael Harrison and great grandchildren Andrew Vasquez, Kaylin Vasquez, Braydan Harrison and adopted great grandchildren Chandler and Alex Brown. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 13, 2011, from 6-9pm at Eternal Hills Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Sunday, August 14, 2011, in the Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Frank Garland officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.
