Ralph Alton Sloan age 86 of Lilburn passed away March 27, 2014. He was born in Walhalla, SC in 1927 and lived his adult life in Georgia. He was preceded in death by his 9 siblings and daughter, Amelia and son, Arnold. Surviving are his wife, Lois Golden Sloan married for 62 years and children, Anthony (Marcie), Allen (Joyce), Andrew (Sharna) and Alfred; 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. Alton served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War, and retired from General Motors. He loved his family dearly. He will be missed by his family and all whom knew and loved him. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 30, 2014 in Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Interment with military honors will be held in Arlington Memorial Park, Sandy Springs. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, 5 to 8 pm in Eternal Hills Funeral Home, Snellville, 770-972-3155.
