Thank you for being a father figure and positively influencing my life as a kid. I can look back and appreciate your kindness and gentle ways of genuinely caring about people.

Papa Ray will forever be my father, my friend, my mentor and a true man of God.  I am blessed to have known him for over 20 years and to create some of the best memories of my lifetime with the Cross Family.  Although today will be a sad day, it is also a celebration for a man that left his legacy behind and who truly made a difference.  His life will forever matter.  My condolences to the family.

We, the members and leadership team of the Holy Covenant Church of Faith Pulaski, would like to extend our deepest sympathy to our ministry partners, Deacon Robert Cross and wife Caulyne Cross, and their daughter Shannon Cross; Deacon William Cross and wife Ara Cross along with the many other family members and friends who share in the loving memory and loss of the beloved Brother Raymond Cross, Jr.

We know that the beloved Raymond rests in the perfect peace among the faithful cloud of witnesses with of our Lord and soon returning Messiah Jesus Christ. Be it Resolved, that we bow in humble submission to Him who never makes a mistake and remind the family to be encouraged by remembering this poem:

When I must leave you for a little while start out bravely with a gallant smile;
And for my sake and in my name live on and do all great things the same,
Feed not your loneliness on empty days, but fill each waking hour in useful ways,
