Robert Walter Might, better known to family and friends as Bob, passed away on the morning of Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at 6:45. Bob was born to Robert I Might and Nancy Marion Might in Flint, Michigan on March 31st, 1947. He had one biological daughter, Kendra Lee Might, and adopted Jeannie Maryé Hardman and Kay Loree Bowser, the biological daughters of his first wife, Brenda. He and Brenda also fostered five children.
Bob served in the United States Navy from1965-1967, later going on to work in the medical field. He was an EMT before earning his nursing degree from Mott Community College in 1985. He worked as a Registered Nurse at Saline Hospital and the VA Hospital in Michigan. After moving to Georgia in 1986, Bob worked at the VA Hospital in Decatur, where he met his second wife, Karen, in 1988. Bob retired from St. Joseph’s hospital in 2009.
Karen Paproski Colatosti Might and Robert Walter Might married on June 9, 1989 at their home in Atlanta, Georgia. He and Karen enjoyed traveling together, often taking their RV to the North Georgia mountains, to the Georgia coast, or to visit family in Michigan and Ohio during the early years of Bob’s retirement. The couple also enjoyed doing genealogical research together, as well as attending continuing education classes in their shared career of nursing. Bob loved learning and earned his Orthopedic Nursing Certification. He remained a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints until the time of his death.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his brother William Might, and his daughter Kay L Bowser. He is survived by his wife, Karen Paproski Might; his daughters, Kendra Lee Might and Jeannie Maryé Hardman; his four grandchildren, Janyé Eston Wallace, Jonathan Hardman-Simmons, Thomas Allyn Waite, and Nolan Chase Waite; six great-grandchildren, Brenden Wallace, Anya Wallace, Peyton Wallace, Holland Wallace, Kaylee Hardman, and Riley Hardman; three step-children Lori Elizabeth Hamilton, Jennifer Melissa Colatosti, and John Anthony Colatosti, Jr.; step-daughter-in-law Melissa Rose Colatosti; and step-grandchildren, John Tanner Colatosti III, Teresa Nicole Colatosti, William Jackson Hamilton IV, James Alexander Colatosti, Cole Archer Hamilton, Leo Anthony Colatosti, and Shawn Marshall Colatosti.
The family invites visitors to the Brockett Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1947 Brockett Rd, Tucker, Georgia 30039, beginning at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019. A funeral service will be held at the church at noon, followed by burial at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens at 3700 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, Georgia 30039.

Racheal, I am so sorry for the loss of your Uncle. I know you two had such a sweet relationship, and a special connection. He loved you very much. May you cling to all the wonderful memories you have with him and cherish the legacy he left you with. You will be with him again someday.
He will be waiting right there with your daddy. Love you Sweetie.
