Roseline Clyne

August 31, 1942 – August 26, 2026

With profound sadness and heartfelt gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Roseline Clyne, born on August 31, 1942, in Canaries, Saint Lucia.

Roseline was a woman of many talents, strong faith, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. Throughout her life, she touched countless hearts through her kindness, creativity, and joyful spirit. She was an excellent school teacher, sharing her knowledge, patience, and wisdom with generations of students who benefitted from her guidance and encouragement.

A gifted seamstress, Roseline used her skillful hands to create beautiful garments and treasured keepsakes for those she loved.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Roseline had a deep love for Saint Lucian culture and the arts. She was an accomplished dancer and a proud participant in the island's rich La Rose tradition, celebrating her heritage with pride and enthusiasm. Her beautiful voice could often be heard as a devoted choir singer, lifting spirits and bringing joy through music and worship.

Above all else, Roseline was a devoted mother whose greatest pride was her family. She leaves behind her beloved son, Linton Clyne , her cherished daughter, Nicole Winthers , 7 grandchildren Kevin,Eden,Reuben,Micah,Elia,Aria, and Hope, along with all of her extended family members, friends, former students, church family, and all whose lives were enriched by her warmth and generosity.

Roseline's legacy lives on through the values she instilled, the love she shared, and the countless lives she touched.

She will be remembered for her grace, strength, compassion, and the enduring example she set for those fortunate enough to know her. Though she is no longer with us in person, her spirit, wisdom, generosity, and love will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

Tribute and Service at the Marchand Roman Catholic Church - Thursday, September 17th at 1 o'clock pm. followed by a reception at the Entrepôt Resource Center

May she rest in eternal peace and rise in glory.
