It is still hard to write this.  Sally you were my best friend and confidant for the past 30 years.  Though we often lived miles apart, I always knew my special resource who knew me like no other was just a phone call away. How many times you comforted me with just the right words & knowledge.  I still turn to the phone to call & stop in sadness that your not there.  I look in the sky at night and wonder which star you are.  You will never leave my heart.  I'm happy that you are at peace beyond the troubles and pain of this life.  Please visit me often just a step behind. I hope to see you again when we can laugh & talk eternally.  Farewell my one of a kind friend and I will see you again.  Enjoy the beach!!

Jenny and Carey, Dave and I are sorry for your loss.   Although we haven't been in touch recently, we have many memories of Sally from years gone by in Indiana.  We always enjoyed her Christmas letter keeping us up on the family.    May your many happy memories keep her spirit alive for you.

Girls,
I have long since lost contact with your Mom, but have thought of her often through the years, especially on Halloween. On Oct.30, 1972, my husband, Kim, and I went to your apartment in Jeffersonville, In. to visit with all of you. I had been having contractions much of the day and was certain that my labor had begun. Sally,at the time an OB nurse,was going to monitor my labor so that I did not have to go to the hospital and possibly be sent home.So, Kim took both of you girls out to Trick or Treat while Sally and I timed contractions.After you returned with all of your sweet treasure, we all sorted the candy and your Mom let you pick out a handful of goodies to eat before going to bed.... what a good Mom !Sally decided that I should go to the hospital about 11:30pm. I delivered my daughter at 3:30am on Halloween. What a good friend she was to spend her evening doing private duty. I will never forget her. She was a gem.

I only knew Sally for a short time when I became a Kaiser advice nurse. She was one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I have ever met. She was also  an extraordinary nurse. My heart goes out to her family and friends for I know she wii be sorely missed. She is now one more nursing angel to protect and guide us all.

Sally I remember the times we had at Kaiser Permanente Call Center.......you will be missed. Rest in peace.

I'm so sad about the loss of your Mother.
Sally was a good friend over the years. We spent a lot of time together when you girls were younger.  We use to kid about me being Mother #2. 

I have so many fond memories of all the trips to Florida and good times we had together.

Rick and I will miss Sally, but have comfort knowing she is at peace in a wonderful place. She will always be in our hearts.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was one of a kind--there will never be another like her. I still remember the apartment she moved in to shortly after she was divorced. I loved that place--I guess because we all spent so much time together and I could always hear your Mom's laughter. She will be missed.

My dear sweet friend, may you now rest in peace and enjoy the beach everyday in eternity! I am so sorry we didn't get that last beach vacation together, but I will walk the sands, collect the shells and remember the wonderful friend you always were to me and so many others! Sally, so many memories...the times you, Chuck and the girls came when
you were in Savannah; the graduation of Chuck from helicopter training and how SO dressed up we were in our long gowns; the weddings of Kelly in K.C. and
Eddie and Bonnie in California.  You were always there with us.  You have been such an inspiration to me in my life and you will be greatly missed by the Rogers family and many, many more whose lives you so lovingly touched.

You halfway raised me, you know that? I will never forget driving with Jen out to May-Retta to pick you up at Kaiser all of those nights. I think I spent as many nights at your house as I did at mine those middle and high school years. You did such a wonderful job raising such smart beautiful women. You have so very much to be proud of. I love you. You're up there looking down, I know you are- still in charge. Strong, like your daughters.  They are your most important and brightest accomplishment. You were always such a ray of light- I will never forget your laugh. I will never forget you. It was a blessing to know you and to know you for as long as I did. Rest, rest and feel peace. You are so missed.
