September 14, 1965November 11, 2019

Steven Todd Rice passed away on Monday November 11, 2019 at the age of 54. He is survived by his Father, Grant Rice of Snellville, GA., Mother, Barbara Rice of Loganville, GA., Brother and Sister Kevin Rice and Jill Rice of Snellville and Milledgeville, GA., Nieces Jana Gourley and Carly Rice of Milledgeville and Warner Robins, GA., and Nephew Ashton Rice of Snellville, GA. Todd was an excellent Mechanic known by many because of his knowledge, talent and skills in repairing Fiat, Ferrari and Lamborghini automobiles, some of which he did complete restorations. His Mechanical career started out in the 1980’s working for and learning from Dave Weaver of Fiat Auto in Atlanta, GA., and Jim Ruggles at Ruggles Performance learning to build V6 engines for NASCAR. He was also a former member of SCCA and part of the safety and security team at Road Atlanta. Todd was also an avid motorcycle rider, and collected Honda motorcycles; although he never really raced motorcycles professionally he rode with some of the top name riders at Road Atlanta. He was very knowledgeable in restoring rare old GMC Motorhomes and his knowledge in electronics and wiring enabled him to build computers, program and install multiple types of security, surveillance and radio/stereo systems. We will always remember our time with Todd and his dad on a hiking/camping trip to Cumberland Island. On one memorable morning on the island, Todd and I awakened before sunrise and headed toward the beach to photograph a beautiful peaceful sunrise! Todd truly enjoyed the wonder of nature and shared this moment with me!
