On Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the age of 61 years old, Timothy J. Milhous of Lilburn, GA was called home forever by his Savior. Tim passed away doing what he loves most, watching the Atlanta Falcons game with his wife, Peggy Walker, from the comfort of his home.
Born on July 3, 1959, Tim attended Trumbull High School where he was a gifted athlete, lettering in Football and Basketball and even having the opportunity to play in the Connecticut State Championship football game. Tim went on to attend Mississippi State University and Sacred Heart University. After enjoying a successful career of over 40 years in the restaurant industry, Tim joined his wife, Peggy in running their own business together.
Tim lived life with more joy and determination than most. His family has so many fond memories of summer afternoons spent on the volleyball court and weekends in the fall watching football together. Tim enjoyed fishing, golfing, and more than anything else, spending time with his family. Those who knew him knew that his greatest joy in life was being a father and a grandfather.
Along with his wife, whom he loved deeply, Tim leaves behind his parents, Jerry and Irma Milhous. Also surviving Tim are his two brothers, Chris Milhous, Scott Milhous, and his sisters in law, Jessica Milhous and Angelia Hanford. Tim will be incredibly missed and never forgotten by his children, Patrick Milhous and his wife Alexa Bennett, Cassie Hurt, Katie Milhous and her fiancé, Justin Langer, their mother, Dawn Stanley, and his stepchildren, Jared Coile and his wife Karly Coile, Nicholas “Mac” Stevens, and Gabe Walker. Tim is also survived by his seven grandchildren: Colton Bennett, Cooper Milhous, Camden Hurt, Caleb Langer, Anna Pearson, Colton Langer, and Lucas Pearson. Tim will be greeted in heaven with open arms by his son in law, Dwight Hurt Jr. Family members will be scattering Tim’s ashes at a later date.
