William H. Harris

William H. Harris, 85, of Snellville passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019, in the comfort of his home. He was born on August 3, 1933 in Washington, D.C. to parents William and Dorothy Harris.

He has lived in Hyattsville, MD, as well as Orlando, FL. Upon his completion of high school he enlisted in The United States Navy, and after serving for several years he received an honorable discharge. He quickly found work at Disney World, and later at Frito-Lay.

He was a member of the Roswell Senior Center and the After Hours Dance Club. He enjoyed playing pickle ball and ping pong; and made many wonderful friends through all the activities he participated in. He lived life to the fullest.

William was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Dorothy, and his wife Dorothy G. Harris.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his daughter Donna Stringfellow; his grandson Nathan Stringfellow; and two sisters: Betty (Jim) Murphy, Evelyn (Rocky) Lane; and a brother Ralph Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Biography

William H. Harris, 85, of Snellville passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019, in the comfort of his home. He was born on August 3, 1933 in Washington, D.C. to parents William and Dorothy Harris.
