Adam G. Siegel

Adam Gary Siegel, 36, of Southington, died Monday June 16, 2014. Adam is survived by his maternal Grandmother Jane Delaney of Middletown, his Father Gary Siegel of Shelton, Mother Jacqueline Siegel of Southington, Sister Jennifer Spain, Brother in law Douglas Spain his beloved nephew Dillon Spain and Brother Ryan Siegel all of Southington. Adam is also survived by a large and loving family from Middletown, consisting of several close aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by paternal grandparents Raymond and Irene Siegel. Adam attended Southington High School. Adam played Baseball and Basketball in Southington throughout his life. Adam was very passionate about cooking and was recently accepted in the culinary program at Norwalk Community College. Adam was also an avid fisherman that enjoyed playing billiards as well as spending time with his extensive group of family and close friends. He had an amazing ability to make people feel welcome and as if they were part of the family. He most enjoyed his afternoons teaching his nephew Dillon the fine art of basketball. Adam will be most remembered by his amazing smile, gentle heart and spirit, and his unique laugh that was contagious. Adam will be forever loved and dearly missed by all.

Calling hours will be Friday from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. A service will follow at 7 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
