Alice (Berry) Baird

Born in New Britain on August 19, 1944, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen (Schultz) Berry. For over 28 years she worked at the Institute of Living in Hartford and was also employed at Connecticut GI medical practice in South Windsor.

Alice was a warm and kindhearted person who loved children and made many friends throughout her life. She enjoyed traveling on cruises and abroad. She had a special love for Italy and even lived in Vicenza for a brief time when she was younger. She loved animals and will be deeply missed by her dogs Sadie and Rambo. 

Besides her daughter Tracy with whom she resided, Alice is leaves a longtime close friend John Yanchak of Farmington, her former spouse John Baird of Laguna Beach, CA, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
