

Born Feb. 5, 1920 in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Antoni and Wladzia (Kolakoski) Korbusieski.
Alice resided in Oakville most of her life prior to moving with her daughter and granddaughters in Southington. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Timex Corp. and Scovill Mfg. as a time keeper. She was a parishioner of Mary Our Queen Church. Alice was also an avid UCONN Women?s Huskies and Boston Red Sox fan, she loved a bargin at the Christmas Tree Shop and enjoyed a scoop of ice cream with nuts on a sugar cone every night. She loved her family and loved to worry about everyone.
She is survived by her children, Alvin J. Turner Jr. of Oakville, Marilyn Turner of Harrisonburg, VA, Michael J. Turner and wife Vivian of Cheshire and Nancy Garry of Southington; beloved grandmother of Jacqueline Garry, Alexandra Garry and fiancée Joseph Grigerek, James Turner and wife Lynn, Brian Turner and wife Aimee, Marshall Klimasewski and wife Sahar, Sonya Hanna and husband Christopher and Joshua Klimasewski and wife Alisia, Robert Garry and wife Jill, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Vaslava Verbickas and 2 brothers Kasmir and Chester Korbusieski.
The funeral will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 9:45 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St., Plantsville for a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to The Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02284-9168.
