Alicia (Ferraiuolo) Pena, 48, of Lake Isabella, CA, passed away on August 21, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Bakersfield, CA. She was the wife of Greg Pena. She was born April 11, 1978 in New Haven, CT and was the daughter of Anthony Ferraiuolo and stepmother Diana of Southington; her mother, Denise Eliseo and stepfather Joseph, of Florida
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her brother John Ferraiuolo and his wife Anastasia of North Haven; her two nieces Isabella and Apollonia and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Alicia attended Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown MA. She graduated from North Haven High School. She lived independently for many years, volunteered for Easter Seals and assisted one of her teachers at The School for the Blind in Hartford teaching other students daily living skills. She was a huge fan of country music, loved sitting with her dog and relaxing with a candy bar.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt Street, Plantsville. Burial will be in California. Calling hours will be prior to the Mass from 9:00-10:15 AM at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Street, Southington.
