He was born on Dec. 13, 1953 in Rincon, Puerto Rico, son of the late Emilio and Geraldina (Garces) Ruiz. Angel was retired from the restaurant business in Puerto Rico.
He is survived by his son Angel H. Ruiz Jr. of Manchester and his daughter Jessica Ruiz of Plainville, along with 7 grandchildren. He also leaves several family members and many friends in Rincon, Puerto Rico.
A memorial service and burial will be held in Rincon, Puerto Rico at a later date. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington is assisting the family with arrangements.
