Anna E. Davis

Born in Bridgeport on August 7, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Osier) Grant. She has lived in Wolcott for over 55 years. She was a lifetime member and 2 time past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW post 1979 in Wolcott.

Anna is survived by her son Richard S. Davis Jr. and his wife Kathleen with whom she resided, two sisters Lorraine Blazys of Watertown, Elizabeth Pawlowski of GA, four grandchildren, Ruby Lank, Scott Evitts, Richard Davis III and his wife Bridget, Julie Davis and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter Elizabeth Evitts, a grandson David Evitts, two sisters Alice Rosa, Hazel Grant and a brother Edward Grant.

Funeral will be Friday morning 10:30 AM from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott to Edgewood Cemetery for Graveside Services. Calling hours are Thursday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
