

A lifelong resident of Connecticut, Mr. Frascatore was born and raised in Southington to parents Joseph and Josephine, who came to the United States from Solopaca, Italy. He moved to Cheshire in 1950, building his home on Milldale Rd.
He was a longtime employee of the Tubular Products Company, beginning at age 16 in manufacturing, and advancing to serve as the company’s general foreman, a role in which he oversaw the entirety of the plant’s operations. Following his retirement, he and his wife Alice founded the Center Laundromat in Southington, where he had many friends and devoted customers. Mr. Frascatore enjoyed travel, having visited nearly every state, and enjoyed dozens of trips to the U.S. west with his family.He most enjoyed the company of his family and friends, and helping those in need.
He is survived by his daughters, Ann Sarra and her husband Gary of Hebron and Alice of Middlefield; his grandchildren, Michael and Emily Sarra, and Leo Lavado; Kyle Boyce and Julie Bowerman; his brother William and sister Anna Petrillo; and many nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends. He is predeceased by his wife, Alice Berkmoes, and nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10am from DellaVecchia Funeral Home in Southington, to St. Bridget Church in Cheshire for a Mass at 11. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday, 3-6pm at the funeral home
