Antoinette Bernard

She was born on April 13, 1921, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Amenta) Lagana. Prior to her retirement she had worked extensively as a Nurse, throughout CT and FL.

She is survived by 2 sons Kevin and his wife Nancy Bernard of Plantsville and Patrick Rungi of Southington, a daughter Patricia and her husband Richard Egidio of Southington, 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter Linda Rungi, 5 brothers Joseph, Anthony, Sal, Sam and Paul and 3 sisters, Pauline Yother, Nancy Foffa and Mary Lagana.

Antoinette’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Highland Health Care for their loving care of Antoinette.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 30th at 10 am at St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St. Plantsville. There are no calling hours. DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. is assisting with arrangements.
