Barbara Mary Kuchta

Barbara M. Kuchta, lovingly known as "Bachie", passed away peacefully on July 28, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on January 23, 1935, in Southington, Connecticut, she dedicated many years to the banking industry, serving as an Assistant Bank Manager at Citizens National Bank in Southington and later as a Bank Manager at Home Bank in Cheshire. Upon retirement, Barbara relocated to Venice, Florida, where she reveled in over three decades of sunshine and ocean views.

Barbara was a loving and hard-working individual, deeply family-oriented, and had a passion for the beach. Her hobbies included camping, crafting, and cooking, activities that she shared with her family and friends, creating lasting memories.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Richard Kuchta III, Jeanine Kuchta, Dr. John Hasychak III and his wife Kate, Lara Hoge and her husband Justin; great-grandchildren, Larissa and John; and her best friend, Shirley Kizilski. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Bud" Kuchta, Sr., her son, Richard "Smokey" Kuchta Jr., and her daughter, Patricia Hasychak.

A private burial service will be held at a later date. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Barbara's legacy of love, dedication, and joy will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
