Barbara was born on Dec. 18, 1932, the daughter of the late Leroy and Rita (Turgeon) Jones. Prior to her retirement she was employed at Allied Control Co.
She is survived by a son Jeffrey Symolon and wife Lisa of Southington, two grandchildren Jacob and Aaron, three sisters, Jean May and husband Ted of Newington, Carol D?Agostino and husband Arthur of Southington, Donna Muto and husband John of Alabama, three brothers, Leroy Jones Jr. of Southington, Kenneth Jones and wife Elaine and Allen Jones and wife Victoria all of New Britain, she also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 6-7 p.m. and a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St.
